Privacy policy

This policy covers discountsalesoutlet.com and the orders and messages that come through it. “We” means Discount Sales Outlet Inc., 5470 Martway St, Mission, KS 66205.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email, phone number, shipping address, billing address and what you bought.
- When you send a message or ask for a quote: your name, email, phone number and what you write.
- Your card: card details go straight to our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- If you pay with Affirm or Klarna: you apply on their site, and they decide whether to lend. We learn whether the payment went through, not your credit details.
- Basic visit data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser and pages requested.
How we use it
- To make, ship and support your order, including warranty claims
- To calculate sales tax from your address
- To email you about your order and answer your messages
- To keep records the law requires, such as tax records
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t send marketing email unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that help us fill your order and run the site, and only what each one needs:
- The maker of your mattress, Jamison Bedding or SlumberCool, and its carriers, who build and ship it (your name, shipping address and phone number)
- Stripe, which processes payments and calculates sales tax
- Affirm or Klarna, if you choose to pay with one (your name, email, phone, addresses and order total). Their own privacy policies cover what they collect: Affirm, Klarna.
- Netlify, which hosts the site, our order records and our contact forms
- Resend, which sends our order emails
We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect against fraud.
Cookies and browser storage
Your cart is saved in your own browser so it’s still there when you come back. Your order number is kept in the browser tab until you see your confirmation, and so are your checkout details if you go to Affirm or Klarna to pay, so you don’t have to type them again if you come back without paying. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as we need them for your order, the warranty, and tax and accounting rules. Messages are kept as long as they’re useful for answering you.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email sales@discountsalesoutlet.com. We may need to keep some records, such as orders, where the law requires it.
Children
This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
